Alan and I met at Royal Oak Roast in Royal Oak. That day Alan was using a Fujifilm X-T3 for our photo walk.

Alan has been taking photos since the 90s when he learned how to process his own film.
Photography has always been part of his life since he was younger when his dad took lots of photos and was an influence to start photography. He also had an excellent high school teacher as a photo mentor.

He is motivated to capture things that he sees and he likes having photography as a hobby. Over the next year, he would like to hone his craft and learn more. Never stop learning to see things in different ways. His mentor always said to look at the ordinary and try to pull/draw something extraordinary from it.
