Jashan and I met at Detroit Bold Coffee’s stand inside of the Eastern Market. That day he was shooting with a Canon T70.

He started taking pictures in 2020 close to the beginning of the pandemic. He likes being able to capture images of cities that people can look back at, whether it be to relive past memories, fall in love with their city again, or gain a different perspective of their city.

Over the next year, he wants to experiment more with film and figure out his shooting style because that’s still currently a work in progress.
