Cameras and Coffee with Philip
Q: What camera did you use on our walk?
A: “Fuji XT-3 with a 16-55mm F2.8.”
Q: How long have you been taking photos?
A: “I bought my first video camera in 2006 and it had a 3-megapixel photo function that I began experimenting with.”
Q: Why did you start photography?
A: “I am observant and curious by nature, I love to discover things and share what I find, and photography is an effective way to do that. In the process, I am able to express myself visually which inspires my work in other mediums, like drawing, painting, poetry, and films.”
Q: What motivates you when it comes to photography?
A: “Photography is a fun way to practice and experiment with a visual language. I love when an image radiates with feeling and I am constantly chasing the light for that magic moment.”
Q: What are your photo goals next year?
A: “I have a photo book in the works and will do an exhibition and book release on completion. It features photos from 15+ countries and a handful of poems.”
