Q - What camera did you use for Cameras and Coffee?
A. - I used a Pentax with a roll of film I needed to finish off & pan 100 black n white film shot on Mamaiya C330.
Q. How long have you been taking photos?
A. With intention, since the end of 2018 but I’ve been taking photos for a long time.
Q. Why did you start photography?
A . One day my sister asked me over breakfast what I wanted to do for the rest of my life and I said “I want to be a photographer”. I’m not sure why I started, I just knew in my soul it’s was what I wanted for my future.
Q. What motivates you when it comes to photography?
A. I am motivated by the energy around me. I love people, so most of my work revolves around photographing someone in some way, whether that be for personal branding, influencers, models for a hotel, etc. I’m motivated to give my perspective of the world we live in.
Q. Describe your photography style.
A. Timeless, authentic images that leave you wanting to come back and look again. I consider myself, Your Everyday Moments Paparazzi.
Q. Explain your Instagram name.
A. It’s my name - Alexandra Folster!
Q. What are your photo goals for the next year?
A. I hope to continue to build my network here in Detroit, while stepping out of my comfort zone and actually start pitching for jobs. More travel work with hotels and fashion brands! International would be dope!
