A. - Fujifilm x100v

Q. How long have you been taking photos?

A. About a year now

Q. Why did you start photography?

A . I’ve always been interested in photography but within the last year, I decided to purchase a camera and give it a shot. As a Graphic Designer, I feel learning about photography is very important because photography is so important to design. I always believe photography is an excellent creative release for me where I can have fun and shoot.

Q. What motivates you when it comes to photography?

A. What motivates me is the thrill of learning something new. Learning composition, editing, and framing, I want to develop my skills because I love learning something new. Another motivation for me is creating memories, I bring my camera everywhere with me because I want to capture life and its moments. 

Q. Describe your photography style.

A. Still to be determined I think. My theory is to shoot as much as possible, learning from others like you in as varied experiences as possible. Then my voice will emerge.

Q. Explain your Instagram name. 

A. Shrimpdesigns is my Instagram name and it comes from a joke with my friends. Shrimp is just something we always called each other so I slapped designs on the end so I could have a unique name. When starting design I wanted a name that would stand out. 

Q. What are your photo goals for the next year?

A. My goals for next year are to have fun and continue learning the technical skills to continue my growth with photography. I want to keep shooting sports and doing shoots like Cameras and Coffee. My biggest goal is to continue capturing memories for myself and others.
