Q - What camera did you use for Cameras and Coffee?

A. - Nikon FE I was testing. It was a recent estate sale find. My everyday film shooter is a Nikon F3HP

Q. How long have you been taking photos?

A. I’ve been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I had a plastic point-and-shoot and loved disposable cameras. My mom was alleyways taking photographs and I knew it was essential to capture memories. I bought my first dSLR ~6 years ago. I’ve been shooting films for just under a year.

Q. Why did you start photography?

A . I love to capture moments and people and feelings. It’s about the feeling of a time snapped up and kept.

Q. What motivates you when it comes to photography?

A. I have a creative itch that needs to be scratched. I have a lot of creative hobbies but photography is one you can do anytime and anywhere. It’s portable and satisfying.

Q. Describe your photography style.

A. My style is in flux, it’s evolving, also idfk…I like to emulate things I see that I like and inevitably it’ll have my own spin on it.

A. jparx I am J Parks

Q. What are your photo goals for the next year?

A. Photography wise it’s to upgrade my DSLR, shoot more film, and maybe develop my own rolls. I’d love to enter some work into shows. Personally, it’s travel as much as humanly possible with my beautiful girlfriend, Emily.  Also, finish my tattoo sleeve.
