Q - What camera did you use for Cameras and Coffee?
A. - CanonA1
Q. How long have you been taking photos?
A. Majority of my life but professionally the last 10 years
Q. Why did you start photography?
A. I started getting serious about my photography after the passing of my brother. I felt like I didn’t have enough pictures of us together. I didn’t have enough pictures to remind me of Life being lived. Photography has always been a form of therapy for me. A way for me to release and express my emotions. Something I depend on heavily post-pandemic.
Q. What motivates you when it comes to photography?
A. Primarily my faith in God and my desire to show Life in every photograph I take. To show that there is Life to be Lived Everyday and Anywhere you may find yourself.
Q. Describe your photography style.
A. I would describe my photography style as very random. My pictures are so random because they are the highlights of my days. No day for me is the same so the highlights are always random. I aim to take pleasure in the simple things in life, and that is reflected in my photography.
Q. Explain your Instagram name.
A. Simply put my family nickname since I was a kid has been Cha Cha. On IG I was initially Chatwotimes but people was not making the connection so I made it easier with the actual 2 in my name hence Cha2times. And then with my film page I made it even easier and just named it ChaOnFilm.
Q. What are your photo goals for the next year?
A. Personally, I would love to relocate outside of Michigan. Professionally I would love to do more commissioned work. Also, get more involved in the photo journalism / documentary world.
