Q - What camera did you use for Cameras and Coffee?

A. -Ricoh GR Digital IV.  An old classic Compact Digital Camera with CCD sensor magic

Q. How long have you been taking photos?

A. Since I was a teenager in High School but got into it during my photography class in College for Fine Arts Undergrad

Q. Why did you start photography?

A. I seemed to always enjoy the process and the gear.  I didn't take pictures for a while but started back up during covid.  I like the idea that it forces me to stop and look and appreciate things.  I also love the design involved in making great cameras. 

Q. Why did you start photography?

A. That it's a continual process.  It helps you see things differently and doing it makes you better.  I shoot digital like film, whatever I get I get with no post-editing.  For me, it's a process that will hopefully make me better at seeing and capturing.

Q. What motivates you when it comes to photography?

A. I enjoy street and travel photography.  Just to make good images and compositions.

Q. Explain your Instagram name. 

A. Simple, tkartsonas Just my name

Q. What are your photo goals for the next year?

A. To get out more and shoot.  Because I am finding out that it's more than just shooting pictures.  It's getting to know more about places you see and visit.  Also, the involvement with our local photo community, it's about the people and new friends I have made and continue to make.   Another one is to share more of my pictures.  I am not very good at it and now that I am part of a bigger community, I realize it's a way of sharing.
