Q - What camera did you use for Cameras and Coffee?

A. - Ricoh GR iii

Q. How long have you been taking photos?

A. Roughly 3 years in total.

Q. Why did you start photography?

A . My older brother. He was doing a lot of photography at the time and was visiting for the holidays. I simply picked his camera up and loved how easy it was to take “cool” photos. I purchased a Nikon D750 shortly after that.

Q. What motivates you when it comes to photography?

A. I’m often motivated by other street photographers. I’m motivated by the randomness of street photography and the interesting folks I bump into while doing it. I look forward to these interactions and oftentimes the reason I get out and shoot. 

Q. Describe your photography style.

A. Random or spontaneous. I never really go out with a particular shot in mind, just walk and see what I bump into.

Q. Explain your Instagram name. 

A. “Jstneff” It’s a play on my own name, Justin Ford.

Q. What are your photo goals for the next year?

A. I don’t really have any goals for next year. Just keep shooting and posting and see where it takes me.
