Q - What camera did you use for Cameras and Coffee?

A. - I used the Canon EOS 80D and iPhone 12

Q. How long have you been taking photos?

A. I've been taking photos ever since my family bought our first point-and-shoot when I was 10 years old!

Q. Why did you start photography?

A .  I started taking photos more seriously this last year as a result of getting more involved at my job. I was inspired seeing the way that photos of Detroit could impact people's perceptions of the city positively, and wanted to practice and enhance my skills to be able to be a part of that. I've also been very inspired by meeting and getting to know many of the incredibly creative photographers in Detroit.

Q. What motivates you when it comes to photography?

A. I am motivated by the power that a photo can have to change minds, influence people's thoughts and opinons, inspire them, and so much more. There's something magical about the way a still moment can communicate and influence so much.

Q. Describe your photography style.

A. My personal style is vibrant, colorful, and aligned. I enjoy capturing natural elements like the sun and flowers, as well as depicting everyday scenes in ways you wouldn't expect.

Q. Explain your Instagram name.

A. My Instagram is my full name, including my middle name. I like it being that way because, for one, it makes it completely unique to me. I also like it because it doesn't constrain the content I post and gives me the opportunity to share what is real and relevant to my life, at any point in time.

Q. What are your photo goals for the next year?

A. My main goals are to continue refining my own personal style of photography and to develop a larger body of my own work.
